This position would be a 50/50 joint appointment at the Assistant Professor level, shared between the and the Advanced Computing Center for the Arts and Design () with the Department of Art as the tenure home.

Ohio State’s Provost Ravi Bellamkonda has announced an AI Fluency Initiative for all students at the university, including how AI will affect their chosen fields of study.

The person in this position will play a key role in developing integrative and critical approaches for using AI across the Visual Arts.

The position would also be a key part of the AI Arts Certificate and General Education Courses in AI Arts both currently being developed for the College of Arts and Sciences.
