The Management Program supports the MBA program and offers an MS in Management with three distinct specializations and the BSBA emphases in Management and Human Resource Management.

**The Business School at the University of Colorado Denver invites applications for one** **_full-time tenure track Assistant Professor position(s) in Management, with an emphasis in Strategic Management or Organization Theory (or related field).

The start date for the position(s) is August 2026_** **_._**

**Assistant Professor of Management**

**What you will do:**

The successful candidate is expected to maintain a track record of high-quality peer-reviewed published academic research in their field.

The position consists of 40% teaching, 40% research, and 20% service.The normal teaching load is 4 courses per academic year.

This is typically reduced to 3 courses during the initial years of the appointment.

Classes may be on-campus, online, or in a hybrid format, depending on departmental or program needs.

**Qualifications you already possess (Minimum Qualifications)**

_Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at the time of hire._

+ Applicants must possess a Ph.D. in Management or a related field from an AACSB accredited (or equivalent) university prior to the position's start date.

**Preferred Qualification to possess (Preferred Qualifications)**

+ Demonstrated effectiveness in research, as evidenced by publications in refereed journals, presentations at academic conferences, and/or other intellectual contributions.
+ Demonstrated effectiveness in teaching at the undergraduate or graduate level, as supported by teaching experience (as an independent instructor or teaching assistant) and student evaluations.

**Compensation and Benefits**

The salary range ( _or hiring range_ ) for this position has been established at $ 145,000-$170,000.

The salary of the finalist(s) selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, internal equity, experience, education, specialty, and training.

The above salary range ( _or hiring range_ ) represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.

This position is not eligible for overtime compensation.
