Description of Department: The Computer Science department coordinates six high-quality innovative degree programs: undergraduate majors in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Science, and Cognitive Science, along with graduate programs in Human Computer Interaction and Biomedical Health Informatics.
The Computer Science Department at the State University of New York at Oswego invites applications to fill a full time Assistant Professor of Practice position.

Compensation: Salary range (https://www.suny.edu/hr/compensation/salary/) is commensurate with experience plus full New York State benefits package.

Description of Responsibilities:
The Computer Science department seeks to hire a faculty member with primary interests, expertise and experience in Health informatics methods, processes, management, and policy.
Faculty members teach and perform associated curriculum development, assessment, and accreditation support for courses in the Biomedical and Health Informatics graduate program.
Faculty members also supervise student projects and capstones, conduct relevant research, and advise students.

Required Qualifications:
+ Masters degree or PhD in Health Informatics or a related field
+ Experience in the design, management and use of health information systems
+ Documented teaching and research ability in Health Informatics
