**Minimum Qualifications:**

**Minimum Requirements (Assistant Professor)**

+ MD/DO
+ Board certified or board eligible in Pediatrics
+ Three years of Pediatric Pulmonology fellowship
+ Must be licensed or able to obtain licensure in the State of Colorado prior to start date

**Minimum Requirements (Associate Professor)**

+ MD/DO
+ Board certified or board eligible in Pediatrics
+ Three years of Pediatric Pulmonology fellowship
+ Must be licensed or able to obtain licensure in the State of Colorado prior to start date
+ 5 years' experience as a pediatric pulmonologist

**Condition of Employment:**

+ Must successfully pass a drug test through Children's Hospital Colorado
+ _Must be willing and able to pass a national criminal background check_

Some positions may require testing if access to Children's Hospital or their systems is needed at any time during employment with the University.

**_Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities_**

+ _Knowledge appropriate for individuals completing a three-year Pediatric Pulmonary Fellowship_
+ _Pediatric clinical assessment skills_
+ _Ability to complete pediatric pulmonary diagnostics and therapeutic procedures_
+ _Strong commitment to teaching and mentoring responsibilities_
+ _Strong interpersonal communication skills including both written and verbal_
+ _Exceptional time-management skills (to include managing email and other electronic forms of communication_
+ _Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary group_

+ _Board certified or board eligible in Pediatric Pulmonology_
+ _Board certified or board eligible in Sleep Medicine_
+ _Prescriptive Authority_

**_Associate Professor:_** _$230,000 - $255,000_

This is a full time, open rank, Assistant to Associate Professor position in the Department of Pediatrics, Section of Pulmonary and Sleep Medicine at the Briargate Campus and Children's Hospital Colorado Springs, Colorado Springs, CO.

We are seeking a dynamic, patient-centered, board certified/eligible pulmonologist to be a part of our expanding and dynamic program.

Pulmonologist with sleep certification is a plus.

We highly value our clinical provider partners and collaborate with our faculty members to have fulfilling careers.

- this role is eligible for a hybrid schedule of an indeterminate number of days per week on campus and as needed for in-person meetings.

The section of Pediatric Pulmonary and Sleep Medicine has 54 faculty members (to include Sr., Jr., PhD, Nurse Practitioner and Physician Assistant faculty) and is a multifaceted program, with on-going interests in asthma, interstitial lung disease, pulmonary hypertension, bronchopulmonary dysplasia, cystic fibrosis, sleep medicine, the pediatric airway and medical education.

Colorado Springs is ranked in the top 10 most desirable places to live in the United States by US News and World Report.
