ResponsibilitiesRelated Ross is seeking an Assistant Project Manager (APM) to join their team in West Palm Beach, FL.
The APM will assist by executing on construction plans, deliverables, cost management and construction operations.
A successful candidate will collaborate with Related Ross' design, development and financial teams along with third party architects, engineers and consultants.
Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to the following:
Support the Project Manager in successful project deliveryManage or support the change order process, by updating logs, and other related activitiesEstablish, monitor, communicate and maintain project schedulesProactively identify issues that could lead to problems and facilitate solutionsParticipate in managing activities that are related to project closeout to ensure timely completionAssist with the evaluation of projects for constructibility and value-engineer cost savingsRun small projects without supervision within comfort levelAdditional Duties
Perform on-site inspections of the various Subcontractors work to insure that the level of quality is being complied withEffectively apply the company’s methodology and enforces project standardsAccountable for job-site safety compliance by employees and contractorsTrack project schedules and long lead items to ensure on-time deliveryTrack project costs to ensure on-budget deliveryPrepare for engagement reviews and quality assurance proceduresAssist with subcontractor compliance per the contract documentsAssist with managing general requirement costs to ensure on-budget deliveryAssist with the monthly reports and draws for submittalEnsure timely and accurate billing/invoicingAssist with proposal efforts including completing project scopingBe proactive in advising senior management of issues and opportunities that ariseDistribute new or updated drawings and specificationsDevelop industry relationships and expand professional networks while representing the company in a professional mannerPerform other related duties as assigned and assist staff as required / directed QualificationsDegree in one of the following disciplines is preferred: Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture or other related fields Minimum three years construction administration experience, ideally within hospitality and/or commercial renovations and new constructionKnowledge of architectural, structural, and MEP systemsTeam player with strong communication and organizational skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneouslyAn entrepreneurial, self-motivated and results-oriented individual with an investor/owner mentalityBenefits
