Job Description Job Description Assistant Superintendent - Multifamily / Traveling Assistant Superintendent - Multifamily / Traveling Position Overview The Assistant Superintendent - Multifamily is responsible for supporting the Superintendent in overseeing multifamily residential construction projects.
This role includes ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.
The Assistant Superintendent will also be responsible for coordinating site activities and managing subcontractors while maintaining safety compliance and effective communication with all stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities Assist the Superintendent in planning and scheduling construction activities for multifamily projects Coordinate daily site operations and supervise subcontractors to ensure project milestones are met Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes on-site Conduct inspections of work to ensure quality standards are maintained Assist in cost estimation and budget management throughout the project lifecycle Communicate effectively with project stakeholders, including clients, architects, and subcontractors Address and resolve any onsite issues or conflicts promptly Maintain accurate project documentation and assist with contract administration Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred Minimum 3 years of experience in multifamily construction or related field Strong knowledge of building codes, safety compliance, and project scheduling Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Proven problem-solving capabilities and time management skills Experience with cost estimation and budget tracking Ability to travel to various job sites as required We are willing to offer excellent compensation projects including: Benefits Competitive base salary (DOE) Strong bonus structure Benefits Car, Gas and Cell Allowance PTO & Sick Leave 401(k) retirement plan - For this position, you must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship for a non-immigrant visa.
