**Job Summary**

Dominion Energy’s Information Technology team has an exciting opportunity for an Associate Programmer Analyst or Programmer Analyst in Richmond, VA or Cayce, SC.

One position is available which will be filled at the level commensurate with the successful candidate’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities.

Under general supervision, works on fairly complex programs and performs systems design.

Develops, tests, debugs, documents, and maintains computer programs.

May provide occasional functional guidance to less experienced Programmer Analysts.

**Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience**

Associate Programmer Analyst: 0-2+ years of experience in application programming or system administration.

+ Software development or administration experience and knowledge/understanding of IT principles and development practices

Programmer Analyst: 3+ years of related software developer or system administration experience.

+ Basic knowledge of software process and application design as well as constructing written use cases, flow diagrams, and system design specifications
+ Moderate skill set in relational database design, data modeling, reporting analytics and dashboards
+ Effective decision-making skills
+ Effective oral and written communication skills (includes technical writing)
+ Ability to work within a team environment
+ Ability to think analytically and solve complex problems
+ Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks

Preferred

+ Experience with Power BI and Power Automate
+ Experience with full lifecycle software development (SDLC) methodologies, Agile etc.
+ Experience developing/scripting with C#, Java, SalesForce, APEX

**Education Requirements**

Degree or an equivalent combination of education and demonstrated related experience may be accepted in lieu of preferred level of education:

Bachelor

Preferred Discipline(s): Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Business, Information Systems, Mathematics

Other disciplines may be substituted for the preferred discipline(s) listed above.
