**Job Description:**
**BCC, a Parsons Company, is looking for an amazingly talented** **Associate Structural Engineer** **to join our team! In this role you will get to to work on transportation infrastructure projects for road and bridge design for major projects in the region.**
**What You'll Be Doing:**
**Working under the supervision of a licensed engineer, analyze and prepare project designs, calculations and drawings for steel bridges; pre-cast, pre-stressed concrete bridges; cast-in-place flat slabs; and**
**Effectively apply pre-established design templates**
**Approach tasks with an open mindset; propose innovative solutions to design problems**
**Prepare engineering reports and contract documents for review by a licensed engineer;**
**May track and provide initial review tasks of technicians or designers**
**Responsible for managing timely completion of multiple assigned tasks**
**Communicate effectively with team members and internal design groups; external communication as required on assigned tasks**
**Effectively present proposed design solutions as part of internal project meetings; may attend and contribute to presentations with external parties**
**Adhere to company marketing requirements by providing timely resume updates and participating in marketing campaigns**
**Ensure timely completion of time sheets and expense reports**
**Take ownership of personal career development by seeking and providing feedback, seizing opportunities to develop new skills, and setting and pursuing personal goals**

**Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering**

Salary Range: $26.25 - $45.96
This position will be posted for a minimum of 3 days and will continue to be posted for an average of 30 days until a qualified applicant is selected or the position has been cancelled.
