**Job Title: Associate Tech/Machine Operator 2nd Shift and 3rd Shift**

**Job Description**

+ We are seeking a dedicated Associate Tech/Machine Operator for the 2nd shift.
+ The role involves setting up machines daily, tracking output and downtime, and compiling reports for supervisors.
+ You will perform minor machine adjustments and troubleshoot issues as necessary.
+ This position requires comfort with wearing latex gloves and, in some departments, face masks or clean room attire.
+ The role involves lifting over 40 pounds, moving materials, and being cross-trained on multiple machines.

**Responsibilities**

+ Complete daily machine setups using basic computer skills.
+ Track daily machine output and equipment downtime.
+ Compile daily reports for supervisors.
+ Make minor machine adjustments and troubleshoot when necessary.
+ Move materials around the manufacturing floor.
+ Lift materials into machines for output/input.
+ Work in a fast-paced environment, learning by observation and inquiry.
+ Stand and move for 8-10+ hours each day.

**Essential Skills**

+ Basic computer literacy.
+ Ability to lift 40+ pounds.
+ Commitment to learning and following directions.
+ Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

**Additional Skills & Qualifications**

+ No prior experience required, but helpful.
+ Good attendance is crucial.
+ Must be open to working 6 days a week if necessary.
+ Willingness to work overtime as needed.

**Work Environment**

+ The work environment is manufacturing-based and fast-paced, requiring standing throughout shifts of 8-12 hours.
+ The role involves highly repetitive, short-cycle assembly.
+ Employees are expected to follow a casual dress code with close-toed shoes and eyewear provided for the entire shift.
+ The position includes two 15-minute breaks and one 30-minute lunch.

**Additional Information:**

Shift 2: Monday-Friday 1pm-9pm

Shift 3: Sunday-Thursday 9pm-5am

- Protective eyewear to be worn 100% of the time

- Protective ear-plugs required in certain depts

- Regularly scheduled stretches – Before and after lunch

- One-hour safety training required before starting the position

**Job Type & Location**

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Foothill Ranch, California.

**Pay and Benefits**

The pay range for this position is $18.97 - $20.97/hr.
