About this Position
Grow, develop, and sustain profitability of a group of agencies in an assigned territory to achieve company goals.
Service assigned agencies by providing information, responding to inquiries, and promoting company products and programs.
Gather information concerning competitive products and programs.
Establish and maintain professional agency relationships via agency visits, conferences, regional visits, trade associations and other professional groups.

As a member of the agency operations team, you will help the company grow, develop, and sustain the profitability of an assigned group of agencies.
You will achieve this by soliciting new business, providing policy information to agents and policyholders, responding to external and internal inquiries, and promoting competitive company products and programs.
You will also establish and maintain professional agency relationships via agency visits, conferences, regional visits, trade associations, and other professional groups.
Work is primarily performed telephonically or via virtual meetings.
You will support the Austin regional office, with travel within Texas required less than 10% of the time.
Essential Job Functions:
In this role, you can expect to:
Act as the company liaison and primary agency relationship contact to develop agency business plans and evaluate performance.
Monitor the insurance industry environment, analyze, and forecast market trends, and gather and report on market intelligence including market shifts, compensation rates, pricing, product offerings, etc.
Collaborate with management and underwriting to develop, evaluate, and execute both strategic and operational agent/broker business plans.
Analyze agency profit and loss performance; develop plans for improvements; make recommendations for agency tier promotion or demotion.
Generate a pipeline of submissions to assist underwriting in solidifying new business opportunities.
Provide company product training and education.
It is required that you:
Have a bachelor's degree or equivalent education, training, or experience.
Have 0-2 years of customer service or general insurance experience to be consider for an associate territory manager or equivalent education, training, or experience.
Have 2-4 years of general insurance experience to be consider for a territory manager or equivalent education, training, or experience.
Have a valid Texas drivers license or available alternate means of transportation.
It would be great if you:
Have knowledge of underwriting or insurance distribution channels and workers compensation insurance.
Hold one the following insurance designations: CPCU, CIC, or ARM.

The base pay range is based on the market evaluation of the job and may include pay for multiple levels.
Individual base pay within the range is determined by a variety of factors, including experience, performance, education, and demonstration of skills and competencies required for each role.

Base Pay Range: $29.84 - $92,795.85 Per Year

All Texas Mutual employees are required to have Texas residency and travel to their designated office as needed.
