Overview
Our client is seeking a skilled Audio Visual Sales Engineer to provide design and sales support to Account Managers and ensure AV projects are completed on time, within budget, and in accordance with industry standards.
This role is essential in translating client needs into detailed technical designs and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide sales team with accurate design support for bids and proposals.
- Ensure installation projects are designed within budgeted hours and deadlines.
- Maintain design accuracy, documentation, and system close-out deliverables.
- Coordinate with clients, architects, engineers, and internal teams throughout project lifecycles.
- Keep skills and certifications current with ongoing training and manufacturer courses.
- Attend trade shows and industry training to stay updated on technology.
- Utilize ACAD, proposal generation software, and workflow tools to produce system designs.
Requirements
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience designing or operating audio, video, and lighting systems.
- BS in Engineering or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Experience with ACAD, Excel, Outlook, Word, and proposal generation tools.
- CTS, CTS-D, or manufacturer-specific certifications (completed or in progress).
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Proven ability to complete projects within budget and deadlines.
- Excellent communication, organization, and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to travel (US only) and work evenings/weekends as required.
- Professional appearance and high attention to detail.
Compensation

RequirementsJob Requirements: Advanced knowledge and hands-on experience with QCS controls, Biamp, Audio DSP, Shure and Intelix.
Great to have: AVPro Edge and Visionary Solutions for VoIP / switchers Advanced knowledge and hands-on experience with AV equipment Advanced knowledge of TCP/IP networking, switches, routers, firewalls are preferred.
Advanced working knowledge of computers (Windows-based) and software.
Maintain a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and embrace a team-centric environment.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret complex documents including product specifications, wiring diagrams, and architectural drawings.
Ability to respond effectively to sensitive customer inquiries or complaints.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills are required.
Valid driver’s license with minimum 3-year clean driving record.
Infocomm CTS certification (within 6 months of employment start) & CTS-I within 12 months Maintain and/or acquire OSHA 10 Hr construction within 3 months from employment start.
