Job Description
Responsible for development of automation, equipment, and systems for new projects.
Develop and implement manufacturing / automation equipment and improving manufacturing methods and procedures.
Responsibilities:
· Lead research, develop manufacturing equipment and automation systems maximizing efficiencies, analyzing layout, workflow, assembly and work force utilization.
· Responsible for the fabrication, testing, and development of secondary equipment & processes, automation and assembly equipment.
· Analyze and evaluate manufacturing methods / equipment to provide solutions for problems that adversely affect costs, safety, productivity and quality.
Fabricate, develop, and implement automation, assembly, and test equipment.
This may involve internal design & manufacture, quoting, sourcing and managing external automation suppliers.
Develop documentation related to equipment and systems for standard operation, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting.
Responsible for executing equipment tests / supporting validations per IQ, OQ, & PQ protocols.
Support the quoting phase of the project as required.
Qualifications:
· Minimum of 8 years hands on experience with: equipment, automation / robotics.
· Bachelor of Science Degree.
· Ability to work from 2D prints and review 3D solid models.
(Solidworks is required.)
· Demonstrated experience with PLC, Vision systems, robotics, pneumatics.
