The role focuses on building, deploying, and maintaining AWS-based solutions while collaborating with senior engineers on more complex architecture and migration projects.

**Your future duties and responsibilities:**

.

Support migration efforts by executing tasks such as application deployment, data migration, and environment setup in AWS.
.

Develop Python scripts and AWS Lambda functions to automate repetitive tasks.
.

Collaborate with senior engineers to implement cloud features and enhancements.
.

Monitor, troubleshoot, and maintain AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, CloudWatch, etc.).
.

Apply infrastructure-as-code (IaC) practices to ensure consistent environments.
.

Ensure workloads meet security, scalability, and cost-efficiency requirements.
.

Learn and apply AWS best practices under senior mentorship.

**Required qualifications to be successful in this role:**

.

Proven hands-on AWS experience with core services (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, IAM).
.

Solid Python scripting skills for automation and integration.
.

Familiarity with cloud migration concepts (experience assisting with migrations is a plus).
.

Understanding of networking, security, and IAM fundamentals in AWS.
.

Experience with CI/CD pipelines and basic DevOps workflows.
.

Strong problem-solving mindset and eagerness to grow in cloud engineering.
.

Preferred: AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate or AWS Certified Developer – Associate.

CGI is required by law in some jurisdictions to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role.

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications.

To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role.

Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.

A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $88,200.00 - $214,800.00.
