Balancing Apprenticeship


Become a trained balancing technician and contribute to our reputation for high quality balancing solutions.

Balancing technicians apply several different correction methods to a wide variety of parts based on the amount of unbalance, component materials, and customer requirements.

Successful balancing technicians display a passion for attention to detail and take pride in the quality of their work.


Experience Level:


• Entry level, no experience required.


• Mechanical aptitude and familiarity with metal working machines is preferred.


• Familiarity with mills and air tools is preferred.


• Familiarity reading engineering and design drawings is preferred.


• Welding experience is preferred for some work.


• Experience creating new and innovative solutions is preferred.


• Experience making fine adjustments by hand is preferred.

Compensation

The Balancing Company is a service based corporation in Vandalia, OH that specializes in mechanical balancing and spin testing of rotating components.

Our 54,000 square foot facility has the ability to accommodate a wide range of part sizes - from 1 gram to 50,000 lbs.

An ISO 9001:2015 certification ensures that every part that leaves our facility has been processed correctly.

The Balancing Company has been family owned and operated since its inception in 1968, and has established itself with a wide variety of customers across all major industries.
