  • Job Title: Bilingual IT Project Manager   Client: Banking Industry   Working Location: Hybrid (NY/NJ Area) – 2 Days Onsite   Working Style: Hybrid   Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent   Salary: $110K – $130K (DOE) Language: English/Japanese   Position Overview: A leading banking industry company in New York is seeking a Bilingual IT Project Manager to support IT infrastructure projects and collaborate with stakeholders both in the U.S. and Japan.

  • This role requires 5-10 years of IT project management experience, with some exposure to IT infrastructure projects.
  • Approximately 30-50% of the work will involve coordination with the client’s head office in Japan, making fluency in both English and Japanese essential.

The ideal candidate should be highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing cross-border projects in a dynamic environment.

  What will you do:



  • Project Management: Lead and support IT infrastructure projects, ensuring successful planning, execution, and completion.

      Stakeholder Coordination: Act as a bridge between U.S. and Japan-based teams, facilitating effective communication and collaboration.

      Bilingual Communication: Translate technical and business requirements between English and Japanese-speaking teams.

      Timeline & Budget Management: Ensure projects stay within budget and meet deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards.

      Regulatory Compliance: Ensure IT projects align with banking industry regulations and security requirements.

      Documentation & Reporting: Maintain clear project documentation in both English and Japanese.

      Risk & Issue Management: Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies.

      Vendor & Partner Engagement: Coordinate with external vendors and IT service providers as needed.

      Required Qualifications & Skills:      Fluency in both English and Japanese (spoken and written).

      5-10 years of IT project management experience, preferably in financial services or banking.

      Experience in IT infrastructure projects, such as network upgrades, data center migrations, or security implementations.

      Strong ability to work across global teams and time zones, with 30-50% of responsibilities involving collaboration with Japan.

      Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

      PMP or other project management certifications are a plus.
