Summary:
Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center, an NCI-Designated Comprehensive Cancer Center in Buffalo, NY, invites applications for faculty positions at the Assistant Professor level in the Department of Biostatistics & Bioinformatics.
We seek outstanding candidates with research expertise in artificial intelligence, machine learning, and/or spatial omics, especially as applied to cancer biology, oncology data science, or translational research.

The Department of Biostatistics & Bioinformatics is a vibrant, growing department that plays a central role in Roswell Park’s mission.
Faculty members collaborate closely with investigators in the areas of cancer biology, immunology, genomics, population sciences, and therapeutic development.
Preferred Qualifications:
•PhD or equivalent degree in Biostatistics, Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Computer Science, or a related field
• A strong publication record and potential (or demonstrated ability) to secure extramural funding
• Strong interest in interdisciplinary collaboration
• Excellent communication and mentoring skills

Required Education and Experience
Doctoral degree in an appropriate scientific or clinical-based discipline and the equivalent of two (2) years of full-time experience in an applicable scientific or clinical research environment.
