Brake Press Operator - 1st Shift Job Opening In Berea – Now Hiring PrideStaff

Brake Press Operator – 1st Shift – Direct Hire!!

Location: West Cleveland, OH
Pay: $20 to $30 per hour + $3K SIGNING BONUS!
Hours: 1st Shift, 6 am-4:30 pm + Overtime

Our West Cleveland client is seeking a skilled Brake Press Operator for 1st Shift.

 The Brake Press Operator will enjoy strong pay, excellent benefits, regular overtime and be part of an employee-owned company where teamwork and pride are important.

You will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining press brake machines, interpreting blueprints, and ensuring precise specifications.

Responsibilities:
  • Set up and operate press brake machines, aligning dies, and calculating bend allowances.
  • Read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings.
  • Load and unload materials, ensuring proper alignment.
  • Perform routine machine maintenance.
  • Collaborate with the team to optimize production.
  • Adhere to all safety guidelines.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience operating a press brake, rolls, or other fabrication equipment.
  • Proficiency in reading blueprints and strong mathematical skills.
  • Ability to set up and operate machines independently.
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with Cincinnati or Steelwell press brakes is a plus.
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to stand for long periods, lift 25-50 lbs, and perform bending, stooping, and reaching.
  • Steel-toe boots and safety glasses required (reimbursed).
