Buildings and Grounds Employee
Transdev in Norcross, GA is hiring a Buildings and Ground employee.The Buildings and Ground Employee is required to perform basic vehicle servicing duties.

We are looking for customer service-oriented professionals who are dedicated to safety.
CBA Position:
Position Subject to Collective Bargaining Agreement:
+ $19.09 - $19.09 (Union Collective Bargaining Agreement Payscale)
+ Starting pay $19.09 with progression to $19.76 over 1 year.
Benefits include:
+ Vacation: up to 40 hours after 1 year of service
+ Paid Sick Leave: 8 hrs monthly full-time employees/ 4 hrs monthly part-time employees; medical, dental & vision after 90 calendar days of employment for full-time employees, life insurance, 401k retirement benefits, and company holidays.

Key Responsibilities:
+ Supports Transportation staff in response to stations and streetcars
+ Clean facility and station stops, including sweeping, mopping, trash, etc.
+ Keep the facility clean including restrooms and grounds
+ Adheres to all safety and organizational rules, policies, and procedures
+ Ensures equipment/facility availability requirements are consistently met
+ Supports the Streetcar Vehicle and Wayside working groups whenever required
+ Other duties as required
Qualifications:
+ High School Diploma or equivalent
+ Valid driver's license
+ Must be able to work shifts or flexible work schedules as needed.
+ Subject to a DOT drug testing and physical if applicable.

DOT Regulation 49 CFR Part 40 does not authorize the use of Schedule I drugs, including cannabis, for any reason.
Physical Requirements:
The essential functions of this position require the ability to:
+ Work outside in varying temperature, weather, and humidity conditions-60% of the job is performed outside, work alone and in remote locations.
+ Sit for extended periods (up to 6–8 hours per day); frequently walk for long distances and on possible sloped ground or slippery and uneven surfaces
+ Push and pull objects up to 50 pounds, occasionally throughout the workday; occasionally bend, kneel, or crouch to files or equipment stored at ground level
+ Withstand heavy traffic areas while performing the duties of the job; tolerate exposure to considerable amounts vehicle fumes and noise.
