Position Summary:
The Overnight Pool Attendant is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and appearance of the hotel’s pool area, including the pool deck, pool enclosure, and surrounding spaces.
This role focuses on deep cleaning and ensuring the pool and adjacent facilities are guest-ready each morning.
The attendant will perform detailed tasks such as pressure washing, dusting, glass cleaning, and furniture maintenance, supporting the hotel’s high standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform nightly pressure washing of the pool deck to maintain cleanliness and safety.Clean and mop restaurant floors adjacent to the pool area.Clean all glass surfaces within the pool area, including pool enclosures, windows, and doors, ensuring streak-free results.Dust and wipe down surfaces, fixtures, and furniture within the pool area.Deep clean and maintain pool loungers, chairs, and tables, including inspecting for wear or damage.Empty trash and debris from pool area receptacles.Ensure all cleaning equipment and materials are properly stored and maintained.Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the Chief Engineer promptly.Follow hotel safety standards, including proper handling of cleaning chemicals and equipment.Support other overnight cleaning or maintenance tasks as directed by the Chief Engineer. Qualifications:
Previous experience in custodial, housekeeping, or facilities roles preferred.Familiarity with pressure washing equipment and cleaning chemicals (training provided if needed).Ability to work overnight hours reliably and independently.Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.Good physical stamina; ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand/walk for extended periods, and perform manual tasks.Basic communication skills to report issues and follow instructions. Work Environment:
Primarily outdoors in the pool area; exposure to wet surfaces, cleaning agents, and varying temperatures.Overnight shift work; ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.Role requires manual labor, bending, lifting, and use of pressure washing and cleaning tools.We are pleased to announce a wonderful opportunity for a Building Maintenance Technician I.

This is a physically demanding position.
You must be comfortable standing, sitting, walking, bending, lifting, and squatting for extended periods of time.
Travel Requirements
This position would require little to no travel outside the property and surrounding area.
Pay Scale: $17.65- $32.84/hour
