Job description

POSITION SPECIFICATIONS

:
  • Bachelor degree in Business, Finance, Communications, Marketing, English or related experience in lieu of degree required.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience; RFP/DDQ experience OR relevant investment management experience required.
  • Understanding of investment management industry including key terminology, market trends, regulatory considerations etc.

  • Possess strong writing and grammatical skills with the ability to compose custom and tailored content with clear, concise and compelling language required.

  • MAJOR DUTIES:

  • Lead and manage proposals, including developing project plans and timelines to distribute to all relevant internal partners
  • In conjunction with management, determine positioning points, key strategies and themes customized for each proposal submission
  • Build relationships with key stakeholders in product, investment management, marketing, sales and other key business units to create compelling, product specific and industry-related content to be delivered in proposals for new business
  • Create project plans and timelines to distribute to all relevant internal partners
  • Organize “launch meetings” when deemed necessary by management to ensure all internal partners are on the same page for a given RFP opportunity
  • Facilitate the contract, legal and compliance review process with internal and external counsel to thoroughly vet proposal submission requirements with management oversight.

    Secure executive, legal and financial review and approvals, as necessary
  • Prioritize responsibilities to effectively manage multiple concurrent projects, groups and activities within client-directed deadlines
  • Partner with subject matter experts to answer client questions and develop new content to add to the team’s content library (in conjunction with and oversight from the team’s Proposal Content Specialists)
  • Ensure executive, legal and financial approval for institutional mandates as necessary
  • Adhere to established Compliance protocol and regulatory guidelines that affect proposal preparation and submission
  • Complete other ad-hoc projects and duties as determined by management

  • 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. (overtime as required)
  • Boston, MA 02110 or Pittsburgh, PA 15222
