Business Development Manager Job Summary

Business Development Manager Responsibilities
Identify, pursue, and secure new commercial and industrial construction projects within the designated market radius.
Build and cultivate relationships with developers, owners, architects, engineers, and other decision-makers to generate new business opportunities.
Manage a healthy pipeline of leads from prospecting through proposal development and contract negotiations.
Collaborate with company leadership and project teams to ensure aligned growth strategies and capabilities.
Represent the company at industry events, networking functions, and client meetings to enhance visibility and brand presence.
Support and contribute to strategic growth initiatives, including expansion into larger EPC and turnkey project scopes.
Business Development Manager Position Requirements
10–15 years of successful business development experience in construction, demolition, industrial services, or related sectors.
Well-established network within the Houston market, with a demonstrated ability to close new business deals.
Entrepreneurial, self-motivated, and proactive mindset—thrives in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
Preferred, but not required: Degree in business, construction management, engineering, or a related field; existing client relationships or book of business in the Houston area.
