Business Development Representative
Position Overview
At Aurora Flight Sciences, we design, build, and fly advanced aircraft and enabling technologies from concept to reality.

We are searching for a talented and self-motivated Business Development Representative to help us create the future of flight.

Responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following:


Responsibilities
- Leverages resources and knowledge of Aurora products, services, processes, and operations to support customer commitments, gain competitive advantage and foster business growth within the aviation
manufacturing market.
- Develops in-depth knowledge of customer business, culture, requirements, and related topics to gain a competitive advantage.
- Interfaces with customers and internal Boeing resources to keep all parties apprised of key issues.
- Creates, maintains, and advances customer relationships to become a trusted business partner.
- Develops in-depth knowledge of customer business, culture, requirements, and related topics to gain a competitive advantage.
- Interfaces with customers and internal Boeing resources to keep all parties apprised of key issues.
- Provides business case analysis, develops and obtains authorization to proceed with customer solutions.
- Leads sales and campaign activities by executing strategies and tactics to foster business growth with acceptable margins.
- Assists in preparing proposals by developing themes and discriminators and reviewing the statement of work, cost estimates, executive summary, and pricing.
- Researches, reviews and analyzes information about competitors' products and services and leverages to improve competitive position and to secure customer and vendor commitments on behalf of Aurora.


Minimum Requirements
- Bachelors Degree in a relevant field.
- 5+ years of experience within the aerospace, defense, or manufacturing market.
- Previous sales or business development experience.
-Must be US person.


Preferred Requirements
- Relationships in aerospace or defense community.
- Active Secret Clearance.
- Understanding of the Defense Department acquisition process.
- Customer understanding in DoD and aviation market.


Physical Requirements
-Ability to travel 10%


Salary Range (Annualized USD)

+ Minimum Range: $97,000.00 to $173,000.00

+ Maximum Range: $120,000.00 to $214,000.00
