The U.S. Consumer Services Team is responsible for our suite of consumer products, services, and experiences in the U.S., including our premium, cobrand, cash back, and lending portfolios, Membership Rewards, Global Travel & Lifestyle Services, the Centurion Lounge network, our Global Dining and Resy businesses, U.S. Consumer Banking, and best-in-class marketing programs across customer, prospect, and partner channels.

The U.S. Consumer Marketing team (USCM) is part of the US Consumer Services Group and is responsible for making membership essential by creating and delivering world class marketing for our differentiated products and services that drives demand and inspires engaged card members across the customer lifecycle.

Asa MarketingIntern,youwillworkon defining our competitive landscape and helping the Marketing organization better understand Consumer behaviors.

Internship project areas can range across various Consumer Products (e.g., Banking, Card, etc.), and you’ll work with different teams to first understand the American Express playbook and how our competitors stack against our unparalleled offerings.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled in an Associate's Degree program at a Community College in a Marketing or Communications related Associate's degree program
  • Students must have a graduation date between May 2026 and June 2026
  • Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in developing products or projects either in an academic, professional,
  • Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment
  • Collaborator with a positive attitude and the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders
  • Curious attitude with a will to learn and connect the dots between their work and the larger enterprise strategy
  • Proven ability to create and deliver compelling PowerPoint presentations that clearly communicate complex ideas and influence decision-making.
  • Salary Range: $24.05 to $63.00 hourly + sign-on bonus
