Description
The Children's Evaluative Services (CES) is a conflict of interest program, which services the Western and Central regions of Massachusetts.
This program provides investigations, assessments and ongoing case management for cases deemed conflicted by the State of Massachusetts.
CES staff is trained to perform DCF services.
Our staff utilizes the DCF FamilyNet data base.
The CES program meets with the Regional Clinical Services once monthly in the Western and Central Offices.
This position is required to attend internal meetings and individual supervision with the Program Director at CHD.
Training at DCF is a requirement.
Complete all documentation in accordance with agency and regulatory requirements.
We are seeking dynamic applicants for the role of Social Worker.
The ideal candidates provide the necessary services to help children in need including homeless, foster, abused and neglected.
This position will interact with children and family members, including siblings, parents, extended relatives, and guardians in order to assess the needs of each child and determine the best course of action for improving the child/family environment.
Attend home and foster care visits; transport children to health, social services or other agency-related appointments as required.
Maintain ongoing communication with DCF staff and other constituencies: initiate court action when necessary.
Maintain a high degree of professionalism in the community, with clients, schools, courts and with referring agencies.
