**Description**
Appleʼs Cellular Software team is seeking talented, highly motivated and disciplined engineers to work across layers on groundbreaking cellular technologies.

The position involves identifying and/or developing core cellular technologies that solves everyday problems for customers using iPhone, iPad, Watch and other wireless product lines.

**Minimum Qualifications**

+ This role requires critical expertise in multiple layers in cellular protocols, experience with UE and/or NW protocols development for various 3GPP technologies is important.

The candidate must demonstrate proven understanding of relevant protocol procedures and network interactions.

The duties of this position will include design, develop, and maintain cellular protocol device side host test and network simulation environment.
+ You have 2+ years of experience in one or more of the following for cellular protocol stack: relevant features on commercial UE or protocol test systems are essential, protocol feature development, test specification, test case implementation and analysis.

**Preferred Qualifications**

+ You have strong software engineering skills including design, programming (using C, C++), scripting (Python preferred, Perl) and debugging.
+ You're highly motivated and self-directed.
+ You have excellent debugging skills.
+ You have experience with cellular protocol stacks preferred 2G, 3G, LTE and 5G NR.
+ You thrive in a collaborative environment and can clearly communicate while confidently driving multiple projects across many teams.
+ You are obsessively passionate and inquisitive, and seek to solve everyday problems in innovative ways.
+ You are laser-focused on the smallest details that are meaningful to our customers.

**Pay & Benefits**
At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range.

This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role.

The base pay range for this role is between $120,300 and $210,100, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs.
