**Description**
In this role, you will have the chance to initiate from architecture, and work with various teams to design, implement, verify, validate, bring-up and productize sophisticated transceiver architectures.
As part of an outstanding RF architecture team, you will define HW and FW control architectures for real-time control of transceiver.

**Minimum Qualifications**
+ BS with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience.
+ Good understanding of communication theory and signal processing algorithms.
+ Good understanding of digital design and architecture principles, including ARM architecture and AMBA protocols (AXI, AHB, APB), and NoC architecture.
+ Hands on experience with RF transceiver or similar complex SoC development and bring-up
+ Excellent communication and documentation skills.
+ Ability to develop detailed system architecture and design documentation.
+ Good experience with Matlab, Python, and/ C/C++ and efficient analysis and automation scripting.
**Preferred Qualifications**
+ MSEE or beyond is preferred.
+ Good understanding of the KPIs (performance, power, latency, etc) of wireless SoCs and efficient HW architectures to achieve the same.
+ Strong technical background in 5G-NR/LTE/UMTS (3G/2G) physical layer and protocols is a plus.
+ Experience with silicon prototyping, emulation systems, and virtual platforms a plus.
+ Hands on experience in bring up of real silicon in lab, ability to efficiently use lab equipment (such as spectrum analyzer, signal generator, power meter, etc).
**Pay & Benefits**
At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range.
This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role.
The base pay range for this role is between $181,100 and $318,400, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs.
