Job details The role of Cherry Picker Operator will operate an order picker to pick master cases of items per customer orders.

Further responsibilities of the Cherry Picker Operator will be to place pulled items on pallet and label, accumulate orders, record items pulled, report shortages and transport completed orders to distribution point, staging area or shipping dock.

Ideally we are looking for a Cherry Picker Operator candidate who has experience operating an Order Picker/Cherry Picker, demonstrates a great attention to detail, has an impressive work ethic and positive attitude, and will place utmost importance on warehouse/power truck safety.



Minimally, a qualified Cherry Picker Operator candidate will need to have some degree of prior picking/order fulfillment experience, and cannot be afraid of heights.

For the right candidate, order picker/Cherry picker training can be provided.

Responsibilities:
- Pick master cases of items per customer orders.


- Place pulled items on pallet and label.


- Accumulate orders, record items pulled, report shortages and transport completed orders to distribution point, staging area or shipping dock.


- Return/place stock in storage area at proper bin or storage location.


- Take inventory or stored items.


- Operate forklift and power jacks or use manual carts and pallet jacks.

PPE & Safety ?

Break Pickers, Bulk Pickers, and Receivers are all required to wear steel/composite toe safety shoes/boots.

All temps will be provided with a yellow safety vest.




- Material Handling Tools Utilized: order picker, hand scanners, tablets, and computers.

Working hours: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM

Skills:
- Ability to safely and efficiently operator Order/Cherry Pickers
- Prior experience in a manufacturing or distribulion environment
- Ability to lift 25-50+ pounds regularly throughout shift
- Prior experience with order fulfillment and inventory management

Education:
High School

Experience:
1-4 years

Qualifications:
- Basic computer skills
- Reading comprehension
- Ability to count
- Keen attention to detail
- Overtime is built into the weekly schedule, candidates MUST be available to work OT.

Other requirements:
- Proven good attendance, positive attitude, communication, team player mentality, reliability, flexibility, willingness to cross train, willingness to work overtime.
- Must be local (within 30 miles) to the facility site in Fuquay Varina, NC.
