Schedule: Monday – Thursday, 3:30 PM – 2:00 AM
The Circuit Board Assembler performs a wide range of production assembly tasks, including both repetitive and non-repetitive operations, on electronic and/or mechanical assemblies and subassemblies.
These may include modules, boards, panels, drawers, frames, and cables.
Key responsibilities include:
Reading and interpreting diagrams and drawings to complete initial layouts.
Using hand tools, power tools, jigs, and saws for assembly tasks.
Performing continuity checks on work in progress and completed assemblies.
Conducting quality inspections in accordance with established specifications.
Disassembling, modifying, reworking, reassembling, and testing experimental or prototype assemblies and subassemblies under simulated conditions.
Proficiency with hand tools and soldering irons
Through-hole and surface mount technology (SMT) assembly
PCB assembly, including pick-and-place processes
Hand soldering techniques
Understanding of ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) practices
Ability to read and interpret assembly drawings
Familiarity with circuit cards and electronic device assembly
Experience in circuit board assembly or related electronic assembly work
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Ability to follow technical drawings and specifications
Manual dexterity and proficiency with small tools and components
