You will be part of an exciting silicon design group that is responsible for designing state-of-the-art ASICs. We have an extraordinary opportunity for Circuits Engineers.
In this role, you will be working with a team of circuit designers to design advanced custom digital megacells (SRAM memories, on-chip sensors, ML accelerators data path) used in a high performance / low power SOC.
This highly visible role as a member of our global hardware Infrastructure CAD Team will support best in class tools and platforms to enable Apple designed silicon components for the Silicon Engineering Group.

**Description**
Imagine yourself at the center of our SOC design effort, collaborating with all disciplines, with a critical impact and playing a strategic role of getting functional products to millions of customers quickly.
You will have the opportunity to integrate and come-up with new ideas, as well as work with a team of hardworking engineers.

You will perform the following:
- Develop custom circuits to improve chip power efficiency.
- Work with power team, PD and architects to define specifications and requirements.
- Perform design, analysis, modeling/simulation, circuit level specifications, schematic capture, spice simulation / margin verification across PVT, statistical design, functional verification and silicon bring up.
- Work closely with layout team to complete the design and oversee the layout quality.
- Develop / drive circuit methodology to achieve the highest design quality metrics.

**Minimum Qualifications**

+ - Experience in design of low voltage custom circuits circuit
+ - Good understanding of deep submicron device physics, leakage
+ - mechanisms, technology interactions with device behavior
+ - Proficiency in scripting languages (Python /Perl or others) and CAD automation tools.
+ - Knowledge of industry standard circuit simulation and design tools
+ - Bachelors or Masters in Electrical Engineering or equivalent,
**Preferred Qualifications**

+ - Experience in one or multiple of the following areas is highly desirable: Machine learning accelerators, SRAM circuits, non- volatile memories, weak / moderate inversion circuits, ultra-low power amplifiers, DC/DC converters, digital on-chip sensors, high speed clocking, time to digital converters (TDCs).
**Pay & Benefits**
At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range.

This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role.

The base pay range for this role is between $121,300 and $183,200, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs.

Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple’s Employee Stock Purchase Plan.

You’ll also receive benefits including: Comprehensive medical and dental coverage, retirement benefits, a range of discounted products and free services, and for formal education related to advancing your career at Apple, reimbursement for certain educational expenses — including tuition.

Additionally, this role might be eligible for discretionary bonuses or commission payments as well as relocation.
