MultiCloud is experiencing rapid growth in both site count and MW capacity.
To ensure operational consistency and maintain delivery momentum, a dedicated US geo-level role is needed to oversee execution and support.
This team is growing and an Operations Manager is required to support the scaling of Multicloud.
Working with Cloud Service Partners (AWS, Microsoft, Google) you will be ensuring Operational continuity by implementing the Oracle Data Centre Operations governance framework to deliver consistency across all MultiCloud sites in the US.
You will support builds and quality assure by visiting partner sites where required to report build activity/issues to internal partner teams.
In steady state you will assign rack locations for all US Multi-Cloud Sites to deliver customer capacity to enable revenue.
This role is primarily and Operations role so you will be expected to manage and drive incidents in relation to the physical infrastructure where required.
In addition, you will be responsible for the strategic customer relationship for DRCC/Alloy deployments across the US and support colleagues around the world so as a group we deliver global continuity.
This an existing role for someone who is passionate about delivering world class services and has an operational, technical and business mindset coupled with an ownership and collaborative approach.
Establish and drive an Operational global service framework across all sites.
Deliver and assign rack locations across all multi-cloud sites in the US.
Work effectively with internal stakeholder teams and Cloud Service Providers (CSP's).
Raise and investigate power and cooling concerns with CSP's.
Support incident management and engage in RCAs / CAPAs where required.
Ensure robust change management practices are implemented.
Create and/or contribute to the creation of Operational SOP's.
Quality assure builds and sign off on new sites.
Contribute to expansion projects to ensure capacity is delivered, enabling revenue growth.
Manage DRCC/Alloy customers and help enable capacity, owning the strategic data center relationship.
Help solve complex issues that arise for the first time in relation to Data Center Operations and work effectively cross-functionally to deliver a successful outcome.
Manage Strategic customer relationships for DRCC/Alloy deployments.
Degree in Computer Science or related degree preferred
CNET Data Center Qualifications- preferred
3-6+ experience in Data Center Operations and Customer Engagements
