Client Service Representative – Animal Infirmary of Hoboken


Do you have a knack for multitasking, a heart for helping people, and a soft spot for wet noses and whiskers?

As a Client Service Representative (CSR), you’ll be the welcoming smile (and sometimes the calming voice) that sets the tone for every visit.

Think of yourself as the ultimate matchmaker—connecting pets, their people, and our medical team.

What You’ll Do


  • Be the friendly first (and last!) impression for our clients—whether face-to-face or over the phone

  • Master the art of juggling: scheduling appointments, updating records, processing payments, and keeping the lobby looking sharp

  • Offer comfort and clarity to pet parents—especially when things get a little stressful

  • Share your knowledge about wellness plans, nutrition, and products (yes, you’ll become a pro at explaining why Fido needs the good flea meds)

  • Tackle essential admin tasks like reports, deposits, data entry, and admitting patients (bonus points if you can do it while petting a puppy)
  • What We’re Looking For


    • 1–3 years of customer service experience (veterinary or medical is a plus, but not required for the right people-person)

  • Computer-savvy and comfortable with phones, payments, and the occasional fax machine (yes, they still exist)

  • Great communicator who can explain the difference between an emergency and a “my cat sneezed once” call

  • Organized multitasker who thrives in a busy, team-oriented environment

  • Patient, positive, and ready to bring good vibes to pets, clients, and coworkers alike
