Title: Scientist – Protein & Client Development
Duration: months
Location: Bothell, WA
Principal Responsibilities
Digital integration related to auditing and maintenance of compound registries
Regular maintenance and auditing of request, registration, analytical data, and inventory applications
Frequent and timely User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for registration and request applications
Weekly electronic submission & registration of compounds for Conjugation & Screening
Laboratory fulfillment of reagent requests based on experience
HPLC maintenance and troubleshooting
Client conjugation and analytical support
Analytical characterization of purified Client products
Creating and maintaining critical laboratory reagents, and managing their inventories
Evaluating and building new data efficiencies towards registration and laboratory data processes
Regular collaboration with team members and strong communication skills
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in biochemistry, chemistry, or related field with a minimum of years relevant experience, or equivalent degree
Hands-on laboratory experience (excluding college coursework)
Experience performing protein and/or antibody purification and characterization
Experience operating HPLC and/or FPLC
Highly detail-oriented with strong analytical, organizational, and multi-tasking skills
Ability to perform routine tasks independently and commitment to high-quality analysis and meticulous documentation
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with product quality analysis for antibodies and recombinant proteins
Experience with basic Python scripting and strong Excel skills
Antibody-drug conjugate (Client) and small compound handling experience
Experience with automated lab equipment and protocols
Prior experience working with electronic lab notebooks (ELN) and/or LIMS systems
Willingness to work with potent cytotoxic compounds while following safety protocols
Hard Skills
Data auditing
Antibody structure knowledge (domains, categorization), protein purification and analysis
Digital application migration and documentation
Soft Skills
Experience using HPLC systems
Prior Client conjugation experience
Attention to detail (mistake detection, standardization, willingness to speak up)
Ability to take direction from peers and leadership
