**Overview**

As a  **Cloud Architect** , you will work within our growingDevSecOpspractice delivering features to support cloud migration, cloud optimization and cloud deployment.

We are looking for candidates with 8-10 years of experience with cloud platform services and DevOps practices such as infrastructure as code and confirmation management automation.

Responsibilities include: 

**Contributions**

+ Identifyand implement the mostoptimalcloud-based solutions for the customer 
+ Design cloud environments anddemonstratetechnical cloud architectural knowledge, playing a vital role in the design of production, staging, QA, and development of cloud infrastructures running in 24×7 environments 
+ Implement and oversee cloud strategies include migrations and optimization 
+ Establishing development tools and infrastructure for automation 
+ Understanding the needs of stakeholders and conveying this to developers 
+ Automate and improve development, testing, deployment, and release processes 
+ Testing and examining code written by others and analyzing results 
+ Perform root cause analysis on complex business processes and technical components
+ Ensuring that systems are safe and secure against cybersecurity threats 
+ Identifyingtechnical problems, performing root cause analysis, and developing software updates and ‘fixes’ 
+ Working with software developers and software engineers to ensure that development follows established processes and works as intended 
+ Support enterprise Cloud applications or infrastructure through infrastructure as code including any activities around automated server or network configurations, large-scale software deployments, and monitoring and testing, such as CI/CD  
+ Document as-is state of the environment, perform a gap analysis, and produce artifacts that articulate options and recommendations  
+ Leverage virtualization and containerization tooptimizeand modernize software systems 
+ Act as an individual contributor and mentor more junior team members 
+ Engineer and implement solutions and provide recommendations for continuous improvement for the services provided 
+ Present regular status updates and provide cross training to other team members

**Qualifications**

**Required:**  

+ Ability to obtain a U.S. government Security Clearance 
+ BS Degree in an IT field OR BS in a non-IT field and 2 years related IT experience 
+ 10+ Years of total experience
+ 8 Years of Experience architecting, designing, developing, and implementing cloud solutions  
+ 8 Years of Experience withtwoor more clouds (i.e.AWS, Azure, GCP, Oracle) 
+ 8 Years of Experience with Git SCM providers such as GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket 
+ 8 Years of Experience with systems development in an Agile environment 
+ 8 Years of Experience implementing infrastructure as code and orchestration 
+ 8 Years of Experience integrating deployments with industry standardDevSecOpstooling and orchestration 
+ 5 Years of Experience in several of the following areas: database architecture, ETL, business intelligence, big data, machine learning, advanced analytics 
+ Solution Architect Certification, or equivalent,in at leasttwoclouds(AWS, GCP, Azure, Oracle)
+ 5 Years of Experience working in a client facing or consultative architecture role 

**Preferred:**  

+ MS Degree in an IT-related field 
+ Certificationsin each of the four major clouds (AWS, Azure, GCP, OCI): 
+ AWS CertifiedSolutionArchitect Associate
+ AWS Certified Solution Architect Professional 
+ Microsoft Certified DevOps Engineer Expert 
+ Microsoft Certified Solution Architect Expert 
+ Google Cloud Engineer
+ Google Cloud Architect
+ Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Certified Architect Associate
+ Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Certified Architect Professional
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal and collaborative skills 
+ Experience with documenting an as-is state of the environment, perform a gap analysis, and produce artifacts that articulate options and recommendations preferred 
+ Experience with scripting in Concourse, Bash, PowerShell, Python, Groovy, or Ruby 
+ Experience implementing docker containers andutilizingplatforms such as Kubernetes 
+ Experience with automation tools, including Pivotal, Chef, Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible 
+ Experience working in a Health Science Program

The projected compensation range for this position is $130,000 to $190,000.

The estimate displayed represents a typical annual salary range for this position.
