Cloud Data Architect (AI/ML)

Job description

Position Summary

+ We are seeking a Cloud Data Architect to design and implement scalable, secure, and high-performance cloud-based systems for analytics, reporting, and machine learning at petabyte scale.

This is a hands-on role focused on data architecture—not platform administration or infrastructure—and requires deep expertise in cloud-native data solutions, Spark development, and AI/ML pipeline design.

TOP SKILLS

+ Bachelor’s degree in computer science & engineering (Must be present on resume)

+ Prior experience in cloud environments (Azure OR AWS)

+ Spark software development

+ Ability to diagram and draw architecture - LucidCharts, Visio

+ Data modeling (enterprise-wide)

Core Responsibilities

+ Design & Build Cloud Data Architectures: Develop scalable, secure platforms for analytics, data lakes, warehouses, and ML workloads in Azure and AWS.

+ Develop AI/ML Pipelines: Create and automate end-to-end ML workflows using MLOps and CI/CD tools.

+ Model & Integrate Data: Deliver enterprise-grade data models and ensure high-quality data integration and lifecycle management.

+ Evaluate Technologies: Lead proofs-of-concept and recommend tools for cloud, big data, and ML solutions.

+ Ensure Security & Compliance: Align all solutions with data privacy, security, and regulatory standards.

+ Collaborate & Document: Work cross-functionally and produce clear architecture diagrams and technical documentation.

+ Optimize & Troubleshoot Systems: Monitor performance, manage costs, and resolve issues proactively.

+ Drive Innovation: Stay current with industry trends and recommend architectural improvements.

Preferred Qualifications

+ Experience with enterprise-wide data modeling.

+ Familiarity with agentic AI and ability to articulate deployment strategies and architectural considerations.

+ Prior experience working in fast-paced, innovation-driven environments (e.g., Adobe or similar).

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $70.00 - $75.00/hr.
