Accenture Federal Services is seeking Senior Cloud Engineers to join our secure cloud platform team supporting government customers within Gov Cloud Environments.

This role focuses on designing, implementing, and managing enterprise-scale cloud infrastructure in a fast-paced, agile environment.

**What You'll Do:**

+ Design and implement secure cloud architectures for enterprise and government environments at scale
+ Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code solutions using Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar tools
+ Develop and optimize CI/CD pipelines and automation workflows
+ Architect and manage network infrastructure including VPC design, hybrid connectivity, security groups, and load balancing
+ Implement and maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting systems across cloud platforms
+ Administer and optimize databases and data management solutions
+ Perform security hardening and ensure compliance with government security frameworks
+ Troubleshoot performance issues and optimize cloud infrastructure
+ Manage Identity and Access Management across multi-cloud environments
+ Develop automation scripts and API integrations to streamline operations

**What You'll Need:**

+ 3 years of cloud engineering experience and Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related technical field, OR 6 years of cloud engineering and infrastructure experience in lieu of a degree
+ 3 years designing and implementing secure cloud architectures for enterprise or government environments
+ Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM templates, or similar)
+ Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
+ Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell, Bash, or similar)
+ Experience with configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Chef, Puppet)
+ Experience in Linux/Unix system administration
+ Experience with version control systems (Git) and collaborative development practices
+ DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification, such as Security+ (or ability to obtain within 3 months of hire)

**Bonus Points if You Have:**

+ AWS experience (EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, RDS, Lambda, CloudFormation, security services) – strongly preferred
+ Azure Government Cloud experience (ARM templates, Azure DevOps, security services)
+ Oracle Cloud Infrastructure experience (Compute, networking, database services)
+ Multi-cloud architecture and integration experience
+ Cloud migration and modernization project delivery experience
+ Data Science & Analytics capabilities (Python data analysis, ML pipeline development, database optimization)
+ Advanced networking expertise (SD-WAN, network security, traffic analysis)
+ Security specialization (penetration testing, vulnerability management, compliance frameworks)
+ High-performance computing and distributed systems experience
+ Cloud platform certifications (AWS, Azure, Oracle – any level welcomed)
+ Kubernetes certifications (CKA, CKAD)
+ CISSP or other advanced security certifications
+ Agile/Scrum certifications

**Security Clearance:**

+ Must have an active Secret level clearance; TS preferred

As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides reasonable ranges of compensation for hired roles based on labor costs in the states of **California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Washington, Vermont, and the District of Columbia** .

The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below.

Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set and level of experience.

$108,400—$203,400 USD
