TekPro is recruiting on behalf of a top power transmission manufacturer supporting aerospace and defense.

Work in a 150,000 sq.
ft., air‑conditioned, modern facility alongside multiple machine brands.
Your mission
- Plan every job from the ground up using work orders, OP.
drawing, engineering/quality plans, materials, specs, and GD&T. - Set up CNC lathes: install and dial‑in three‑/four‑jaw chucks; stage tools and attachments; load stock.
- Run first articles and sample pieces; verify to the quality plan and OP.
drawing; adjust offsets and program edits as required. - Execute and monitor drilling, grooving, turning, facing, knurling, and thread chasing operations.
- Troubleshoot process issues; reprogram at the control; replace worn tooling; maintain accuracy.
- Follow safety and quality procedures without exception.
- Perform preventive maintenance; follow OEM guidance; coordinate repairs.
- Capture production and quality data; communicate across shifts to maintain continuity.
- Engage in ongoing learning; contribute ideas that elevate throughput and quality.
Bring these qualifications
- Minimum 2 years operating CNC lathes and mills.
- Ability to read mechanical drawings and interpret GD&T; strong basic math.
- Hands‑on proficiency with G-Code and setting up for production runs.
- Big plus: Experience on DMG/Mori Seiki NT4300/1500 turn/mill.
- Big plus: Background in gear manufacturing.
