**The Opportunity:** **Machinist - Horizontal CNC Lathes (DMG, Mazak, Doosan)**

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented CNC Lathe Machinists to set up, operate, and maintain horizontal CNC lathes.

You will be responsible for producing precision components while maintaining high safety and quality standards.

**Your Challenge:**

+ Set up and operate horizontal CNC lathes (DMG, Mazak, and Doosan models) performing precision machining to tolerances within 0.001”
+ Interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work orders
+ Load materials and set tooling per job specifications
+ Monitor machine operations and make adjustments to maintain tolerances
+ Perform routine maintenance on machines
+ Conduct in-process inspection using precision measuring tools
+ Maintain clean and safe work environment
+ Work collaboratively with engineers and quality control team

**Your Expertise:**

+ 3+ years of experience operating horizontal CNC lathes
+ Proficiency with DMG, Mazak, and/or Doosan controls (e.g., Fanuc, Mazatrol)
+ Strong understanding of G-code and M-code
+ Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
+ Experience with precision measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers, etc.)
+ Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
+ Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
+ Experience in a high-precision, low-volume production environment
+ Basic programming/editing skills
+ Familiarity with ISO 9001 or AS9100 quality standards
+ Must be a Sole US Citizen and able to obtain and maintain a DOD security clearance
