**Job Posting: CNC Machine Operator**

**Location:** **Houston, TX 77047 (South Houston)**
**Job Type: Full-Time**
**Shift: 2nd shift (M-F) 2pm-10:30pm w/ some Saturdays**
**Pay: Competitive Pay Based on Experience**

**Position Summary**

We are currently seeking a skilled **CNC Machine Operator** to join our manufacturing team.

This individual will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC machines to perform precision machining operations according to blueprints, process sheets, and other specifications.

**Key Responsibilities**


+ Set up and operate CNC machines to manufacture precision components.
+ Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and process sheets to determine machining requirements.
+ Download, edit, or write programs from a DNC system.
+ Select and install appropriate tools, calculate feeds and speeds based on material types.
+ Perform inspections using precision measuring instruments; ensure equipment calibration.
+ Apply Lean Manufacturing techniques to reduce setup time and increase efficiency.
+ Actively participate in daily Continuous Improvement activities.
+ Adhere to all company safety, quality, and operational procedures.
+ Foster a collaborative, team-focused work environment.

**Qualifications**


+ High School Diploma or GED required.
+ 5–10 years of CNC machining experience (preferably in tight-tolerance environments).
+ Trade school certification or equivalent technical training preferred.
+ Experience working with various metals including steel, copper, brass, aluminum, and bronze.
+ Ability to read and understand technical drawings and machining instructions.
+ Proficient in using and calibrating precision measuring tools.
+ Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and communication skills.

**Physical Requirements**


+ Ability to stand for extended periods and frequently lift or move up to 50 lbs.
+ Must have close vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
+ Regular exposure to moving mechanical parts and typical manufacturing environment noise levels.
