**Job Description**

We are seeking a skilled CNC Set up Mill Machinist to join our dynamic team.

In this role, you will be responsible for programming, setting up, and running CNC machines.

Your expertise in setup is crucial, and you will need to bring your own tools for the job.

You will work closely with blueprints, dimensioning tools, and perform inspections of your parts before final inspection.

This role is located in a small machine shop specializing in medical device parts, primarily using stainless steel and aluminum.

**Responsibilities**

+ Program and set up CNC machines for daily operations.
+ Operate the CNC machines efficiently and ensure quality output.
+ Read and interpret blueprints accurately.
+ Use dimensioning tools for precise measurements.
+ Inspect parts for quality assurance before final inspection.
+ Edit CNC programs as necessary using G&M codes.

**Essential Skills**

+ 3+ years of experience in CNC machining on mills.
+ Strong setup and editing experience using G&M codes.
+ Ability to read blueprints.
+ Experience with dimensioning tools and part inspection.

**Additional Skills & Qualifications**

+ Experience with SmartCam is a plus.
+ 2 years of setup experience on mills is preferred.

**Job Type & Location**

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Richardson, Texas.

**Pay and Benefits**

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $28.00/hr.
