**Job Title: CNC Swiss Lathe Machinist**
**Job Description**
Join a dynamic and growing machine shop that specializes in Swiss Lathe operations.

We are seeking a skilled Set Up Machinist to handle our Miano/Citizen Swiss Lathe, focusing on setup and operation rather than programming.

**Responsibilities**

+ Set up and operate CNC Swiss Lathe machines, including Miano and Citizen models.
+ Perform quality inspections and ensure precision in machining processes.
+ Read and interpret blueprints to guide machine setups.
+ Conduct machine offsets and manage operations effectively.
+ Unload and bring machines to a home position after operations.
+ Collaborate with programmers and manage multiple machines simultaneously (up to three).

**Essential Skills**

+ Minimum of 2 years experience with CNC Swiss Lathe, particularly Hyundai Wai or Citizen models.
+ Proficiency in using Fanuc or Mitsubishi Controls.
+ Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints.
+ Experience in setting up machines, performing offsets, and managing operations.

**Additional Skills & Qualifications**

+ Experience with Miano Lathe (Fixed head stock) is a plus.
+ Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.

**Work Environment**

Work in a smaller, well-organized shop located in Warren.

The role is a first-shift position from 6am to 4pm, Monday through Thursday, with occasional Friday shifts based on production needs.

Enjoy a stable schedule with no weekend work, allowing for work-life balance.

**Job Type & Location**

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Warren, Michigan.

**Pay and Benefits**

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $29.00/hr.
