Job description

**Job Description**

Join our team as a CNC Swiss Machinist for the 1st shift, working Monday through Thursday from 6am to 4:30pm, with occasional 4-10 hours of overtime on Fridays.

You will primarily work on Nexturn and Hanwha Swiss machines in a dynamic job shop environment.

**Responsibilities**

+ Perform full setups and changeovers independently.
+ Run parts from through the whole process for orders ranging from 50 to 5,000 pieces.
+ Conduct 2-10 setups per week.
+ Read and interpret defense blueprints and GD&T symbols.
+ Perform first article, in-process, and final inspections using micrometers, calipers, and comparators.
+ Maintain tight tolerances down to +/-.0001 of an inch.

**Essential Skills**

+ 2+ years of experience setting up Swiss machines, preferably in Aerospace/Defense.
+ Proficiency in reading blueprints and understanding GD&T symbols.
+ Experience using micrometers, calipers, and comparators.

We operate within the Aerospace industry, contributing parts to the Mars Rover and numerous satellites.

The shop is air-conditioned, adding to the comfort of your work environment.

**Pay and Benefits**

The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $83200.00/yr.
