Our headquarters are in Veldhoven, the Netherlands, and we have 18 office locations around the United States including main offices in Chandler, Arizona, San Jose and San Diego, California, Wilton, Connecticut, and Hillsboro, Oregon.

Role and responsibilities

This Co-Op reports to the Manager of the Office and Lab Space Support team.

Through effective collaboration and innovation, the team supports the Wilton R&D community with strategic and logistical tools to create a roadmap of office and industrial space needs, run a tool center with a portfolio of tools, and achieve optimized processes amidst changing business needs.

We are currently searching for a highly motivated, self-starter who can help our team provide effective coordination and analysis.

As a Co-op Business Process Analyst, your responsibilities include:

  • Leading, supporting end to end trouble shooting of issues that affect space planning and tool management processes
  • Drive, facilitate and evaluate various non-product planning needs
  • Analyze problems and set priorities between different alternatives or deliverables
  • Specify and maintain space planning data sources, procedures and guidelines
  • Ensure data integrity and effective data management practices
  • Model the impacts of a variety of business decisions, obtain stakeholder buy-in and develop reporting to communicate results
  • Serve as an analytical and process “hub”; provide guidance and training to R&D staff regarding planning processes and tools
  • Define, plan, manage and coordinate assigned projects to ensure execution and delivery
  • Act as a recognized business partner by enabling effective decision making on all levels
  • Pro-actively assist, enable and challenge all stakeholders
  • Provide guidance to R&D stakeholders around standard process and proactively develop continuous improvement strategies
  • Build and maintains relationships with R&D project teams to ensure effective collaboration
  • Contribute to the team by living the 3Cs (challenge, collaborate, care) and building a sustaining function
  • Education and experience

  • Pursing a Bachelor’s, Master’s or PhD Degree in Engineering Management, Business Administration, Information Technology or Computer Science with minimum 2 years completed (Must be a current student and pursuing a degree)
  • Experience in administrative or project management
  • Experience within matrix organizations or technical/engineering environments
  • Experience or knowledge in process mapping
  • Process development, execution and management knowledge
  • Proficiency (expert) in Microsoft Office: Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams, Forms (Power BI, Spotfire skills a plus)
  • Experience building and maintaining SharePoint sites
  • Ability to solve problems and implement solutions to complex problems with available resources
  • Attention to detail and continuous improvement mindset
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills – written and verbal
  • Self-motivated and flexible to changing priorities and project needs
  • Ability to achieve short/mid-term results while maintaining focus on long-term strategy

  • Other information

  • This position is located on-site in Wilton, Connecticut.

    It requires onsite presence to attend in-person work-related events, trainings and meetings and to further ensure teamwork, collaboration and innovation
  • Co-Ops typically work at ASML for a semester and a summer, 8 months total
  • The essential job functions for this position include, but are not limited to: 

  • Work in a fast-paced office environment, including working in a standing or seated position for long periods sometimes exceeding 8 hours per day, 5 days per week
  • Commute to ASML’s facility and report to work on a regular and timely basis and complete the scheduled workday on a consistent basis
  • Routinely required to sit; walk; talk; hear; use hands to finger, handle and feel; stoop, kneel, crouch, twist, reach and stretch
  • Occasionally required to move around the campus
  • Perform office tasks using simple hand grasping, fine hand manipulation and reach associated with assigned tasks such as paperwork, computer keyboarding (e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint), filing, calculating and use of telephone or other handheld electronic devices, continuously sometimes exceeding 8 hours per day, 5 days per week
  • Have a sufficient ability to communicate, through sight, hearing and/or otherwise, to perform assigned tasks and maintain proper job safety conditions
  • Occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus
