Job Summary:
An Adjunct instructor is a term-to term appointment with responsibility to students, course material, and classroom and/or online instruction.
Teaching duties include all levels of the Business curriculum for undergraduate and graduate courses.
Roles Summary: To undertake teaching activities in the curriculum area, ensuring a high quality of provision, in response to learners’ needs.
To work collaboratively and innovatively with colleagues.
Key Responsibilities: To undertake teaching and learning related activities, as agreed.To ensure that appropriate learning materials are prepared and assessments and assignments are undertaken in a timely manner.To undertake administration and provide reports and statistics regarding student and teaching matters.To contribute to the development of curricula and learning activities, taking into consideration Functional Skills development and equality and diversity. Minimum Qualifications
Masters in teaching area with at least 18 graduate hours in Business discipline form a regionally accredited university.Ability to teach undergraduate level accounting and/or Business courses.Commitment to teaching excellence and delivery.Willingness to teach at the CSU Main Campus, the CSU Dayton Location, and CSU Global.Experience and interest in teaching students from diverse cultural and ethnic backgrounds.Ability to use technology in instruction and advising. Preferred Qualifications
