ABOUT THE ROLE
The WSJ Communities' team is looking to hire a Community Engagement Partner for our C-Suite membership communities.
This team is responsible for engaging and retaining the world's most influential business leaders as members and is dedicated to providing them timely insights, experiences, and analysis they can trust, along with peer connections, enabling them to make critical decisions that improve the lives of stakeholders they serve.
The Community Engagement Partner is a member relations specialist, providing concierge service and is the go-to point of contact for our community.
They are integral to ensuring members have an elevated, bespoke, and valuable experience.
They are key community builders and ensure the quality of the member journey and experience from onboarding through engagement to renewal.
They work as part of a team to develop a vibrant community of members within the vertical, facilitate maximum engagement in network benefits to provide value, and execute retention and renewal efforts.
The Community Engagement Partner will be accountable for engagement and retention goals.
Results will be driven by building relationships with members, soliciting their feedback / requests, doing research, and partnering with key internal stakeholders to develop membership offerings accordingly.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for day-to-day member relationship, attending to the needs of the member and their team.
Onboard new members, including detailed Member Profile and formalized intake process for gathering comprehensive member data, bio, headshots, (onboarding and continuous feedback) and coordination of benefits.
Member Engagement: Execute best practice communication and engagement to maximize member attendance of upcoming events, summits, dinners, exchanges, breakouts, and exclusive experiences.
Manage event communication in event registration platform.
Curate cohorts for member-led events to meet with peers in confidence to discuss challenging topics they and their organization face
Attend membership events (in-person and online), welcoming members, and providing on-site assistance at registration.
Assist in connecting network members with each other providing introductions for professional contacts
Coordinate member opportunities for thought leadership, including Member Voices and Roll Call recruitment and coordination
Provides member administrative assistance and support (redemption codes, passwords, etc)
Monitor event activity and flag unengaged members for outreach
Owns renewal process, including payment processing
Garner members' thoughts on how to best improve and personalize their experience, both at the individual level and at events.
Collate these insights, share with the Community Director, and subsequently work with Dow Jones' stakeholders to ensure members' needs are met.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Ability to work closely with executive teams.
Exemplary verbal and written communication skills and customer relations skills.
Ability to attend a schedule of in-person events.
Some travel may be required.
Ability to work in an event-management platform.
A proven track record of seeing ideas through to completion, utilizing exemplary execution skills.
Ability to work in a team structure.
