**What We’re Doing**
Our Team, the Command and Control, Battle Management and Communications (C2BMC) Global team, is engineering, developing and integrating new capability for the Missile Defense System that currently protects the United States and its allies.

The team consists of many small agile teams that work together in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Our team is also, responsible for tasks such as Sensor/Weapon Integration, Algorithm Development, User Interface Development, Automated Testing, Cyber Security and enhancing other critical, leading-edge missile defense technologies.

Joining the Global Platforms and Infrastructure (GPI) team as a Patching and Compliance System Administrator offers a unique opportunity to be part of a dynamic and innovative group of professionals who are shaping the future of Missile Defense.

**Who You Are**
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly motivated Patching and Compliance Specialist to join our team in Colorado Springs.

This role focuses on managing and coordinating patching efforts across enterprise systems while ensuring compliance with cybersecurity standards and vulnerability remediation protocols.

The ideal candidate will have experience with patch management tools and compliance reporting and will collaborate closely with cybersecurity teams to maintain the security posture of critical infrastructure.
Please Note:
• This position requires a government security clearance at the Top Secret level; you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
• This position is located at Schriever, Space Force Base 10 miles east of Colorado Springs, CO and is 100% onsite.
• This position may involve around 10% travel to our customer sites throughout the U.S.

Together, this national team supports the design, development, test, integration and fielding of hardware and software elements that enable the Missile Defense System (MDS) to function effectively and continually.

As a C2BMC-Global Team member, you will also have the opportunity to interface with our key customers in the Missile Defense Agency (MDA), and you will collaborate with a diverse team of technical professionals including software and systems engineers, architects, and our project engineering team.

**Basic Qualifications:**
• An Active Final TOP SECRET clearance required prior to starting, with eligibility to obtain a TS/SCI
• Must possess DoD 8140 IAT Level II compliant certificate such as CompTIA Security+ CE or other certs such as CISSP or CASP.

Or has the ability to obtain the certification within 90 days of start.
• Experience with a scripting language such as Bash, Python, PowerShell or Ansible
• Strong knowledge of compliance monitoring and vulnerability assessment tools such as Tenable Security Center.
• Hands-on experience coordinating patch testing and deployment on Windows, Linux, and other common operating systems.
• Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks and best practices for patch and vulnerability management.
**Desired Skills:**
• Experience with applying and testing compliance with Department of Defense (DoD) Security Technical Implementation Guidance (STIG) standards for industry products/systems.
• Proficiency in Ansible for infrastructure automation, configuration management, patch compliance, and application deployment.
• Experience designing, developing, and maintaining Ansible playbooks, roles, and modules.
• Ability to integrate Ansible with other automation tools and platforms.
• Experience with other configuration management tools (e.g., Chef, Puppet, SaltStack) a plus.

**Ability to Work Remotely:** Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
**Work Schedules:** Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees.

Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed.

These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
**Schedule for this Position:** 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
**Pay Rate:** The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $104,500 - $184,115.

For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location.

Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.

Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

**Benefits offered:** Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays.

Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays.

PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.

This position is incentive plan eligible.
