The Strategic Division (SD) supports high-reliability organizations including Navy Strategic Systems Programs (SSP), US Strategic Command (USSTRATCOM), Air Force Nuclear Weapons Center, and the Department of Energy (DOE), among others.
Our support across our client base is expanding rapidly and encompasses important services, such as data analytics and visualization, threat analysis, risk management, modeling and simulation, cost estimating, earned value management, program management, system engineering, independent evaluation, and High Consequence Event prevention.
The Strategic Systems Analysis Group (SSAG) supports government and private sector strategic planning, decision making, and program management.
SSAG integrates deep client knowledge, advanced analytics, and subject matter expertise to provide timely and objective technical, operational, programmatic, acquisition, and policy analysis.
SPA has a near-term need for a Computer Systems Engineer/Architect (Mission Systems Services Manager).
SCITLS Responsibilities Mission Systems Services Manager: Leads mission system services, including the lifecycle management, engineering, integration, and sustainment of required systems and assured connectivity in the GOC and all other locations within the USSTRATCOM Enterprise.
Oversees multi-disciplinary engineering services and projects to collaboratively solve complex problems that span various technical fields.
Leads technology insertion, process re-engineering, development and adaptation of tools, test development, and assessment of candidate tools and solutions.
Executes systems engineering, technical analysis, and other knowledge-based research efforts targeted to improve mission performance and processes, survivability, reliability, training, and interoperability of systems.
Assesses training interoperability, systems engineering, and systems interoperability.
Recommends system acquisition planning and management products (e.g., briefings, architecture diagrams, white papers) to successfully implement new or updated technologies and procedures related to nuclear defense systems.
Qualifications Required Qualifications: Must maintain a Top Secret (TS) security clearance and access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI), Nuclear Command and Control - Extremely Sensitive Information (NC2-ESI), North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) and eligibility for Special Access Required (SAR) programs.
Bachelor's Degree in information technology, engineering, systems analysis and/or systems architecture.
Masters degree in applicable program.
At least 10 years of experience in DoD management.
Background and experience with strategic deterrence and global strike planning, including knowledge of Nuclear Command and Control (NC2) and Nuclear Command, Control, and Communications (NC3) operations and capabilities, strategic nuclear operations, joint integrated operations, joint warfighting doctrine, unified Combatant Command (CCMD) structure, and global command and control constructs.
Certifications: ITIL v4 Foundations plus one or more of the following DoD 8140 training courses: FITSP-O or GFACT or CASP+ or CCNP Security or CCSP or Security+ (complete within 6 months of hiring) Desired Qualifications: M.B.A. in Global Management, M.A. in Military Studies, or M.A. in Strategic Studies.
Program Management Program (PMP) and Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) certification.
Knowledge and experience in critical command and control requirements, inclusive of NC2 and NC3 operational capabilities and procedures.
Knowledge of national, Department of Defense (DoD), and Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff (CJCS) guidance, CJCS Emergency Action Procedures, U.S. Strategic Command (USSTRATCOM) Emergency Action Procedures, CJCS Instructions, and Presidential Policy Directives.
Experience in supporting USSTRATCOM Global Operations Center (GOC) and/or other operations centers at Combatant Commands, Joint Staff, or DoD levels.
