We're seeking a Construction Materials Technician to join our Construction Administration Services team.
In this role, you'll perform field and laboratory testing of construction materials such as concrete, aggregates, and asphalt pavement, ensuring compliance with standard testing procedures.
Testing will be conducted at construction sites and in a controlled laboratory environment.
Under the guidance of a Construction Engineer, you'll perform materials testing, provide updates on test results, and coordinate upcoming testing activities.
Projects are based in Southcentral and Southeast Alaska, but future assignments may take you to other regions of the state.
This role often involves long hours, including night shifts, during the construction season.
This position involves field, laboratory, and office work.
While working in the field, this position will involve working along or near busy roadways and in construction areas.
This position may be required to lift up to 60 lbs.

When working in an office setting, this position routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, copiers, filing cabinets, etc.
This position may also be required to climb, kneel or crouch, and reach with hands and arms.
