Content Management Consultant

This role is responsible for facilitating and driving the critical collaboration between the client's departments and Technology Services to deliver essential Office 365 projects and solutions that meet organizational needs.
It covers discovery, analysis, design, and implementation of solutions that align with business needs and expectations.
As an expert in Office 365 and Microsoft Office SharePoint, this role helps the business incorporate the Microsoft-integrated collaborative platforms into daily operations.
The Content Management Consultant showcases the platform’s capabilities to business units and leadership to solve real problems and help the business run efficiently.
It requires a highly collaborative, team-focused mindset to bridge Technology Services and the client’s Business Units, delivering on and managing end-user expectations.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Consult with business unit customers on the design and implementation of solutions based on Microsoft technologies, particularly SharePoint and Office 365.
- Build relationships with departmental customers to understand needs and develop solutions.
Work with Technology Services as a departmental advocate spearheading ideas and implementing solutions.
- Determine business requirements to support the creation of project plans, timelines for delivery, implementation, and configuration of deliverables.
- Understand the organizational/department vision and deliver customer-focused presentations and workshops; demonstrate options, and manage milestones, deadlines, and scope of projects.
- Research and collect detailed technical and user requirements, translate needs into programmable solutions, and ensure identified solutions meet expectations.
- Manage and oversee Office 365 migrations and upgrades.
- Collaborate with Technology Services and business units to research, design, test, and implement systems that enable and support business functions.
- Design, erect, test, and implement the basic integrated solution and distributed computing solutions on behalf of the business.
- Test and monitor design solution performance and resolve system problems on behalf of the business.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
