Your role at Clorox:

The Continuous Improvement (CI) Manager is responsible for driving operational excellence through the identification, analysis, and implementation of process improvements.

This role involves facilitating initiatives that focus on increasing efficiency, reducing costs, and improving overall organizational performance.

The CI Manager will lead projects, guide teams, and employ TPM (TRACC), Six Sigma, and other improvement methodologies to drive improvements across the site.

The Continuous Improvement Manager owns focus improvement projects, daily direction setting processes, and improving the KPIs for lines and is responsible for eliminating loss through world class manufacturing tools.

In this role, you will:

  • Learning Management– Leading people training development processes and systems, including documenting processes
  • Operational Readiness - Lead an effective Operational Readiness process for the site, ensuring the team is fully prepared and capable of executing innovations and capital projects effectively.
  • Loss Elimination– Develop and execute training systems and processes for 1) identifying losses, 2) analyzing and eliminating root causes, and 3) Creating and improving standards to enable us to achieve the performance targets for the production line.
  • Operations Excellence –Lead and manage continuous improvement projects across various business functions.
  • Analyze and map business processes to identify areas for improvement.
  • Utilize TPM/TRACC tools, Six Sigma, and other process improvement methodologies to design and implement effective solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and maintain a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Coach and mentor employees on TRACC tools, daily problem solving, and methodologies.
  • Monitor and report on the progress and effectiveness of improvement projects.
  • Set performance metrics and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of improvement initiatives.
  • Facilitate training on continuous improvement methodologies and best practices.
  • Identify and mitigate risks related to project implementation and business operations.
  • Prepare detailed reports, presentations, and documentation on improvement outcomes.
  • Provide leadership and foster a mindset of innovation and efficiency across all levels of the organization.
  • Partner with HR / Training & Qualification Team rep to the SLT to establish and evaluate robustness of function/pillar capability plan
  • Factory Maturity Progression deploying the TRACC Best Practices as part of the implementation for the site
  • Sustaining Processes – Support and participate in daily direction setting (DDS), Plan Do Check Act (PDCA) process, and Leader Standard Work (LSW), responsible for providing daily and weekly gap analysis and the execution of loss elimination actions through structured problem solving to drive efficiency improving overall OEE
  • Other duties as assigned by department or plant leadership, including maintaining operational skills within the department

    What we look for:

  • 5 + years of demostrated experience working in a fast-paced, hands-on manufacturing environment.
  • Experience leading a team of at least 15 people
  • Strong communication and leadership in a continuous improvement environment with, preferred exposure to World Class Manufacturing, TRACC, Lean, or 6 sigma is a plus.
  •  Exposure to World Class Manufacturing, TPM/TRACC, Lean, or 6 sigma is a plus.
  •  Bachelor’s degree or equivalent job experience.

    (Preferably Engineering or Technology oriented)
  • Willing to travel on the job on occasion.
  • Excellent oral/written communication and people skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to function as a member of a cross-functional team.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to identify and resolve issues effectively.
  • Must be highly motivated and assertive with strong commitment to success.
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing, supply chain, or operational setting.
  • Familiarity with statistical analysis tools and software, such as PI Vision, Power BI, LEDs, SAP.
  • Knowledge of business process management tools and software.

    Based on the breadth of our ranges, most new hires will start at Clorox in the first half of the applicable range.

    Your starting pay will depend on job-related factors, including relevant skills, knowledge, experience and location.

    The applicable salary range for every role in the U.S. is based on your work location and is aligned to one of three zones according to the cost of labor in your area.

    –Zone A: $106,700 - $204,900

    –Zone B: $97,800 - $187,900

    –Zone C: $88,900 - $170,800

    All ranges are subject to change in the future.
