Job description

CONTRACT SPECIALIST 3314

We are seeking a detail-oriented contract professional to support the review and analysis of contract data, supplier agreements, and commercial terms as part of a strategic divestiture initiative.

This role will serve as a critical liaison between the supply chain and legal teams, ensuring all contractual obligations, risks, and opportunities are clearly identified and documented for final review.
Key Responsibilities

  • Review and analyze existing supplier contracts, MSAs, SOWs, and amendments.
  • Identify key terms, obligations, renewal clauses, termination rights, and assignment provisions.
  • Summarize contract data into standardized templates for legal and supply chain review.
  • Flag potential risks or issues related to divestiture, including exclusivity, change of control, and IP ownership.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to validate contract interpretations and business impacts.
  • Support data cleansing and contract metadata validation in contract management systems.
  • Assist in preparing contract packages for transition or renegotiation.


    Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Legal Studies, Supply Chain, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in contract review, legal operations, or procurement.
  • Familiarity with contract lifecycle management (CLM) tools and databases.
  • Strong understanding of commercial terms and legal language.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.


    Preferred Skills

  • Experience with divestitures, mergers & acquisitions, or corporate restructuring.
  • Background in telecom, infrastructure, or technology sectors.
  • Paralegal certification or JD (not required but a plus).
  • Familiar with indirect contracts such as utilities, software, and managed services.
